Sexual mishaps. Childhood dysfunction. When bad drugs happen to good people. These are just a few of the important issues East Side Oral tackles at each show. Instead of ruminating over your flaws at home you can join us and rest assured that other, exhibitionistic wordsmiths share your pain.

How to be a dominatrix. Tips on anal sex. Partying with your parents. Learn these valuable lessons and more. All this for the price of a subway ride and a couple Cabernets.

East Side Oral is proud to bring you performers who know how to reveal themselves with honesty and humor. Some of the writers we present have published books and articles. Others are on their way. East Side Oral doesn't discriminate, as long as they're good.

East Side Oral takes place on the second Sunday of every month at 5:00 P.M. and runs about two hours. Each show includes four rocking readers and one kick-ass musician. There’s no cover charge, but there is a two-drink minimum. It’s cozy and dark, a great place for writers and musicians to show their stuff to a generous, warm audience.

The Living Room is located at 154 Ludlow, between Stanton and Rivington, on the lower east side in Manhattan. The closest subway stop is the 2nd Avenue F.
